Job Details Location: Columbus, Ohio 43207 Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - LTAC / Long-Term Acute Care Nurse Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse) Shift: Night Shift - 12-hour shifts Hours per Week: 36 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: March 30, 2026 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,730-$1,820 Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (required) BLS Certification (required prior to first shift) ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift) Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience (2 years highly desired) Experience in LTAC, sub-acute, surgical, or pediatric settings is a plus Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching beginning at admission Communicate changes in patient status to physicians and charge nurses to ensure continuity of care Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies and procedures Participate in team building and contribute positively to the unit environment Assume charge responsibilities as requested following orientation Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education Why this travel nursing job: Ideal for RNs seeking LTAC experience, night shift positions, and travel nurse opportunities in Columbus, OH.
