They gain hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Great Plains) and GAAP, while assisting with audits, tax preparation, and general financial record maintenanceResponsibilities:Perform month-end close tasks ensuring the appropriate recognition and classification of Georgia Aquarium transactions. Perform audit/review tasks as requested.Qualifications:Currently enrolled accounting major at a 4 year accredited institution.This is an experience-based, paid internship.Application Requirement: The internship application will require a resume and cover letter.
