Luxury Senior Living Communities In Coral Gables, Kendall & Homestead Is looking for Dining Room Supervisor for its Palace Suites 11377 SW 84th Street Miami, FL 33173 Developer of the Year – Silver Award by the National Association of Homebuilders 55+, 2016 The #1 Priority of this position is… To assist the Director of Dining Room Services in planning, organizing, directing, staffing, leading, controlling, coordinating the dining room, bar, training staff and inventory control. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supervise, train and prepare daily schedule for the waiters and waitresses. Manage breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Maintain standards for safety, sanitation, storage of food supplies and banquet supplies. Interact courteously and tactfully with managers, coworkers, customers, vendors, residents and resident family members. Ability to promote and execute our culture of “Yes”. Qualifications High school degree or equivalent (GED). At least two (2) years of experience in food service. Ability to speak, read & write English with good comprehension. Spanish preferred. Basic math skills required. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of the restaurant service; health, sanitation and safety requirements. The Ideal Candidate Responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented. Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations. Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task. Strong Leadership skills. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member. Demonstrate excellent verbal communications, interpersonal skills and empathetic listening.
