Qualified Multi-Family Apartment Superintendent needed for rapidly expanding General Contractor based in Los Angeles and specializing in Affordable Housing.COMPENSATION IS COMMENSURATE WITH YOUR EXPERIENCEPERFORMANCE BASED BONUSMust have experience as a Lead Superintendent for at least 10 years.Must have 5 years of experience as a Superintendent building Multi-Family Apartments up to 5 stories with knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.This is a job for a well-seasoned Superintendent not for someone starting out!Experience & Requirements:Substantial Multi-Family Apartment construction experience in the field, supervising, scheduling, quality control and safetyProficient in computer programs such as Microsoft OfficeWorking Knowledge of ProcoreStrong Knowledge of OSHA safety rulesStrong ability to read and understand the plans (Architectural, structural and WEP'sHighly organizedHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong oral and written communication skills, great interpersonal skillsMaintains a positive relationship with clientsStrong leadership skills with a positive attitudeJob Responsibilities:Develop onsite logistics planCoordinate with Project Manager and General SuperintendentDirect and control the project to ensure timelines are metDemonstrate a commitment to an injury-free work environment leading by exampleSupervise the jobsite to either meet or exceed OSHA safety requirements at all timesRun weekly safety and trade meetingsMust be proactive on staying ahead of plans and catching inconsistencies in the drawings before they become an issueHighly organized at both preparing both long and short terms schedules to ensure all work activities take place ahead of schedule. Maintain a 2 to 3 week look aheadTrain and mentor Assistant Superintendents and Labors in the fieldSupervise all trades, and monitor the quality of their daily workCoordinate and schedule all required inspectionsPrepare and submit Superintendent daily reportsManage storage of all materials in a safe, clean and efficient wayEnsure all company policies are followed including but not limited to those pertaining to jobsite rules, safety and cleanliness of the jobsiteResponsible for obtaining Certification of Occupancy on timeMaintain good working relationship with all subcontractors, inspectors, architects, owners, vendors and any others that you may have interactions with on the jobsitePrepare and review scopes, RFI's and submittalsAttend all necessary meetingsLicense:30 hour OSHA (preferred)Procore Certification (preferred)First Aid (preferred)​Benefits:Paid HolidaysVacation401K with company contributionHealth insurance availableCompany DescriptionAt United Building Company (UBC) we transform our client's vision into award winning buildings, each built to stand the test of time.
