Supervision of arrival and departure, classrooms,hallways and other public areas on school grounds as well as on outings/field trips off site.Adheres to school and district policies, procedures, and components of the school-widemanagement plan/PBIS framework. Maintains confidentiality of student information in the schooland in the community.Job Duties / ResponsibilitiesSupervises students in assigned areas and facilitates structured group activities, ensuring compliance with safety rules and procedures.Reports all student injuries, accidents, illnesses and discipline issues to the appropriateauthority immediately, or as soon as reasonably possible.Ensures a safe and respectful environment during sessions.Participates in training and staff meetings.Collaborates with other staff members to coordinate group activities.Supervises students to maintain an orderly atmosphere which is conducive to educational development and individual growth.Shows consistency with students and good follow-through with discipline, referral and positive reinforcement in alignment with Brothers Rise Up goals and attributes.Facilitates conflict that may occur with students.Other duties as assigned.EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Basic CPI training - PreferredExperience / KnowledgeMust be 21 years of age or older.Excellent communication and public relations skills.Has at least 3 to 5 years of experience working with school age studentsPhysical DemandsAbility to walk and stand for long periods of time.Ability to assist in lifting up to 50 lbs. with proper technique.Terms of EmploymentThis is a temporary summer position.Salary and benefits as established by the Board of Education
