Job Title: Network Engineer (L3)Duration: Long Term ContractLocation: Irvine, CA (Hybrid)Travel: More than 50% (multiple locations across USA)Project OverviewThis project focuses on modernizing enterprise network infrastructure across corporate offices, branch locations, and manufacturing plants. The initiative includes LAN redesign, firewall upgrades, IT/OT segmentation, and migration to Prisma SD-WAN. Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end network deployment across multiple sites Upgrade firewalls (PA-440 → PA-1420) including configuration migration Perform LAN redesign using core/distribution/access architecture Migrate VLAN gateways from firewalls to core switch SVIs Execute SD-WAN migration (VeloCloud → Prisma SD-WAN) Handle routing, switching, firewall, and SD-WAN configurations Perform rack/stack, cabling, staging, and cutover activities Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting post-deployment Maintain documentation, diagrams, and configuration backups Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience in: Routing & Switching (L2/L3) Palo Alto Firewalls (PA-440 / PA-1420 preferred) SD-WAN (Prisma SD-WAN preferred) Experience with: VLANs, SVIs, NAT, VPNs, dynamic routing IT/OT network segmentation Ability to independently execute deployments after initial shadowing Strong troubleshooting and validation experience Deployment ModelWork in teams of 2 engineers Parallel deployment across multiple sites Follow standardized build–test–cutover methodology DeliverablesFully operational firewall and SD-WAN environment Migrated LAN architecture Validation reports and documentation Final site acceptance sign-off
