Please read on to learn more about this great opportunity!The Paralegal II will work with Counsel and the Paralegal Leadership to implement procedures necessary to fulfill the Fund’s Minimum Standards compliance and carry out changes to the Funds’ Minimum Standards, which have been adopted by the Funds’ Trustees.Essential Job Functions And DutiesReviews and analyzes collective bargaining agreements for compliance as established by organizationCommunicates information regarding complex issues with both internal staff and external customersIdentifies, understands, and assists in resolving contract issues affecting employee’s health coverageCoordinates with Fund departments to ensure contracts can be administered effectivelyKnowledgeable about all assigned plan units and their nuancesPrepares/analyzes reports from database and from other sources as requested by CounselResearches and writes for attorneysDrafts memoranda, letters, addenda, and extractsResearch new legislationPerforms special projects and maintains historical documents and practicesDemonstrates the Fund’s Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) principles in their conduct at work and contributes to a safe inclusive culture with equitable opportunities for success and career growth Essential Qualifications2 ~ 4 years of related experience, minimumAssociate's degree requiredCertification in Paralegal Studies, preferredExpert level with contract review, interpretation and draftingExperience with labor relations contract review, preferredProficient ability to work on and resolve contract disputes, strongly preferredWorking knowledge and experience in employee benefits, preferred Salary range for this position : Salary $58,300 - $72,900.
