Lab Technician – Part-Time | Chelating Agent Manufacturing
Location: Plano
Looking for a current university student who would like to work around their class schedule. current student is preferred, ultimately, we want a capable individual who is willing to work part-time doing lab support
Our client provides custom manufacturing solutions for chelating agents used in radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine. We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Lab Technician to support daily laboratory operations
Package products into vials using balances, spatulas, and labels
Receive and move chemicals/raw materials
Transfer spent solvents to 55-gallon drums using proper safety equipment
Clean laboratory glassware and equipment
Assist chemists with cleaning and reassembling lab equipment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–2 years of lab experience preferred
Comfortable with metric units, fractions, and basic variables
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/bend for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
Organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask
Schedule
20–24 hours/week
Flexible scheduling for students with daytime classes
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
No evenings or weekends
Gain hands-on experience in specialized chemical manufacturing
Work alongside experienced synthetic chemists
Flexible part-time schedule ideal for students
