In this position, you will work collaboratively with Client Managers and Claims Advocate to provide exceptional service to clients. Key Accountabilities – Claims Report claims accurately and timely to insurance carriers, brokers, or third-party administrators. Follow the claims workflow for proper documentation and follow up within the agency management system: claim setup, maintain claim-related documents, and acknowledgement of adjuster information and claim number to clients. Utilize system claim activities to track deadlines and outstanding requests to ensure timely progress. Process claims download suspense daily Maintain claims reporting contacts for carriers and brokers. Serve as back-up to the Claims Advocate Key Accountabilities –Client Service Prepare and order policy change requests for clients and check endorsements for accuracy upon receipt from carrier. Assist Client Managers with policy renewal activities including: Prepare renewal kit items: request loss runs, experience mod worksheets; prepare mod reports and spreadsheets Send pre-renewal information requests to insureds. Provide other assistance to Client Managers, as requested. Knowledge and Experience A positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to get better are required to be a successful team member. Additionally, we believe an individual with the following skills and experience will be a valued member of our team: Communicate effectively: excellent written and oral communication skills and strong attention to detail. Insurance service experience, knowledge of commercial and personal lines products and markets, account management background/knowledge or relevant customer service or claims management experience. Applied Epic agency management system experience. Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products. The minimum requirements to apply for this position include: A high school diploma and relevant service experience. Kansas Insurance License (P&C) required within 60 days of employment. Study courses and materials to prepare for exam are provided.
