Podiatrist

We are looking to hire a dedicated and professional Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to join our growing practice in Brooklyn, New York. The ideal candidate should be skilled in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions while providing high-quality patient care.Responsibilities:Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions.Perform routine podiatric care, including diabetic foot care, nail care, wound care, callus/corn treatment, and foot pain management.Treat common podiatric conditions such as plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, heel pain, ulcers, infections, and sports-related injuries.Order and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging, and lab results when necessary.Develop personalized treatment plans for patients.Perform minor in-office procedures as appropriate.Educate patients on preventive foot care, footwear, diabetic foot management, and post-treatment instructions.Maintain accurate and timely medical records.Coordinate care with primary care physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers when needed.Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, HIPAA, and all applicable healthcare regulations.Requirements:Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from an accredited podiatric medical school.Active or eligible New York State podiatry license.Board certification or board eligibility preferred.Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.Experience with diabetic foot care, wound care, and routine podiatric services preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.Malpractice coverage and credentialing eligibility preferred.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance patients.Comfortable seeing patients in a busy outpatient clinical setting.Bilingual skills are a plus.Surgical experience is a plus but not required.Compensation:Competitive compensation based on experience, availability, and scope of services.
