OB/GYN Sonographer

FemmPro OB/GYN is seeking a dedicated and skilled OB/GYN Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical abilities, proficiency in sonography techniques specific to obstetrics and gynecology, and a compassionate approach to patient care. As an OB/GYN Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations, assisting physicians in diagnosing conditions, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct high-quality ultrasound examinations for obstetric and gynecological patients, including 2D, 3D, and 4D imaging.- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining the procedure, positioning them appropriately, and ensuring their comfort.- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to optimize image quality while adhering to safety protocols.- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, providing preliminary reports to physicians.- Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss findings and contribute to the clinical decision-making process.- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including images and reports, in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.- Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols.- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with techniques, equipment, and best practices in obstetric and gynecologic sonography.- Assist in training and mentoring new staff or students as needed.- Maintain ultrasound equipment and perform routine quality assurance checks.Qualifications:- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) preferred; or registry-eligible candidates encouraged to apply.- Proven experience as a sonographer, with a focus on obstetrics and gynecology preferred.- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as it relates to obstetric and gynecological ultrasound.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on patient care.- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret sonographic images.- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and ultrasound imaging systems.- Nt Certification a plus but will train and certify.**PM shifts a must**Benefits:- Competitive pay commensurate with experience- Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.- 401k plan (Traditional and Roth) with 3% automatic employer contribution and discretionary profit-sharing- Continuing education reimbursement where applicable and professional development opportunities- Supportive work environment focused on patient-centered care
