The ideal candidate has deep expertise in litigation calendaring, strong familiarity with rule-based docketing platforms, and a proven ability to support high-volume litigation teams across multiple jurisdictions.This opportunity is best suited for someone with law firm longevity, exceptional attention to detail, and confidence serving as a go-to resource for docketing accuracy, court rule compliance, and internal training.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Litigation Docketing Specialist will serve as an essential partner to attorneys, litigation staff, and firm leadership by ensuring deadlines are properly captured, maintained, and communicated. Responsibilities include:Reviewing litigation documents to identify critical filing dates, hearing schedules, and procedural deadlinesCreating, updating, and auditing docket entries within Aderant CompuLaw (or a comparable rule-based calendaring system)Manually calculating deadlines when rules require independent interpretation across federal, state, and local jurisdictionsMonitoring docket integrity and generating deadline reports for attorneys and litigation teamsResearching and tracking ongoing updates to court rules and procedural changesActing as a senior resource to support best practices and consistency across the docketing functionMentoring junior docketing staff and assisting with internal training materials and documentationCollaborating directly with attorneys, court personnel, and administrative teams to resolve docketing-related inquiriesSupporting the Docketing Manager with special projects, workflow improvements, and firm-wide initiativesRequired Qualifications (Must Be Met)Candidates will only be considered if they meet the following core requirements:5-7 years of direct litigation docketing experience within a law firm environmentHands-on proficiency with Aderant CompuLaw or a similar rule-based docketing system (CourtAlert, eDockets, etc.)Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local court rules and litigation proceduresDemonstrated ability to interpret complex filings and extract enforceable deadlinesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and WordPrior experience mentoring, training, or serving as a lead resource within a docketing teamAbility to work fully onsite in Atlanta, GAAuthorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship now or in the future)Comfort with the stated compensation range of $75,000 - $85,000Preferred Qualifications (Highly Valued)Top candidates may also offer:Multi-jurisdiction docketing experience supporting national litigation practicesBackground developing internal training guides, desk manuals, or reference toolsExperience assisting with firm-wide calendaring process improvementsFamiliarity with additional litigation support technologies and document management systemsDo Not Apply If You HaveLess than 5 years of law firm litigation docketing experienceNo exposure to rule-based calendaring platforms such as CompuLawLimited knowledge of court rules or inability to independently calculate deadlinesA preference for remote work (this role is fully onsite in Atlanta)HireNow Staffing DisclaimerHireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this role.
