Mid Coast Medical Group–Rheumatology has an immediate need for a full-time (40 hour per week) Medical Secretary to join our care team. The Medical Secretary is responsible for providing administrative and office support for the providers in a busy practice.Position SummaryThis position will function as a team member of the Mid Coast Medical Group and will facilitate the goals of this office which are: To deliver quality patient care that includes maintaining strict patient confidentiality. To present a positive and respectful attitude to patients, co-workers and the community for Mid Coast Health Services and its subsidiaries. To operate efficiently and ensure prudent use of resources. Position Summary The Physical Therapist performs physical therapy evaluations, develops plans and carries out treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part; helps patients reach their maximum performance, in accordance with the Plan of Care prescribed by the physician. Provides all aspects of care based on standards established by the American Physical Therapy Association. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in an accredited Physical Therapy program. License/Certifications: Active Physical Therapist license required. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required. Experience: Prior experience working in a hospital, nursing home or outpatient Physical Therapy Department is preferred.
