Technical Program Manager- Data Engineering

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to support multiple initiatives within a Data Engineering organization. This role will focus on driving execution, improving delivery processes, and bringing structure across multiple technical workstreams.Key ResponsibilitiesManage approximately 3–5 concurrent Data Engineering projects/workstreams.Drive project planning, timelines, dependencies, risks, blockers, and overall execution.Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, Scrum meetings, and delivery tracking.Ensure user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and project artifacts are clearly defined and maintained.Build and maintain Jira dashboards, timelines, project plans, and status reporting.Identify process gaps and help establish governance, SLAs, and operating guidelines.Partner with Engineering Leads, Architects, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to drive decisions and remove blockers.Provide clear project updates to both technical and business stakeholders.Required SkillsStrong Technical Program Management / Technical Project Management experience.Excellent hands-on experience with Jira/Atlassian.Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and software delivery processes.Experience supporting Data Engineering, Data Platform, or Data Product initiatives preferred.Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and bring structure to ambiguous environments.
