Secondary Structural Steel Installer (Travel Required) - MO
Job SummaryWe are seeking experienced and safety-focused Structural Steel Installers to join our team. This position requires 100% travel to job sites across the country. The ideal candidate will have experience of erecting structural steel frameworks, (ex. Structural grids in Telecom and Data center environments), reading blueprints, and working at heights in manlifts in commercial and industrial environments.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, position, and secure non welded structural steel beams, columns, girders, and other components (Typically this is Unistrut or Hilti strut.)Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and erection plansAlign and bolt steel components using hand and power toolsPerform rigging and signaling for crane operationsConnect steel components using bolts or other fastening methodsEnsure proper alignment and leveling of structural elementsFollow OSHA and company safety regulations at all timesInspect materials and equipment before useWork collaboratively with crew members, foremen, and project managersQualificationsMinimum 2+ years of structural steel installation experience preferredAbility to read and interpret construction drawingsExperience working at heights in man lifts, typically 20-30 feet high.
