We are seeking a Content & Communications Lead to own our editorial strategy and execution. In this role, you will report to the VP of Communications and produce high-quality content that positions EvenUp as a leader in AI and legal technology.Key ResponsibilitiesEditorial Leadership: Build, maintain, and execute weekly and quarterly content calendars aligned with company priorities.Content Production: Write and edit blogs, executive thought leadership, customer stories, product narratives, and company announcements.Storytelling: Translate complex AI, legal, and business topics into clear, engaging, and customer-focused narratives.Standards & Quality: Set and maintain high editorial standards for accuracy, clarity, tone, and consistency.Research: Independently research industry trends, validate claims, and synthesize information.Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and executives to align messaging.Thought Leadership: Shape company narratives and identify where EvenUp should lead in the conversation regarding AI in law.Performance Tracking: Monitor content performance and refine strategy based on audience engagement.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: 8+ years of proven experience in creating original content, identifying relevant stories, and managing editorial calendars.Skills: Excellent writing and editing abilities with a strong customer-first mindset; ability to avoid jargon and ensure clarity.Subject Matter: Experience covering technology, AI, business strategy, or emerging industries; working understanding of AI concepts.Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, editorial judgment, ability to operate independently, and experience working with senior leaders.Work Style: High standards, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Benefits & PerksChoice of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.Additional coverage: Life, accident, and critical illness insurance.Flexible paid time off (PTO), sick leave, short-term, and long-term disability.10 US observed holidays and Canadian statutory holidays.Home office stipend.Retirement plans: 401(k) for US employees; RRSP for Canadian employees.Paid parental leave.Access to local in-person meet-up programs and hubs in San Francisco and Toronto.
