Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions with confidence. Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to health regulations. Assist with food handling, stocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant is well-organized for smooth operations. Support quick service by managing time effectively during busy periods, ensuring prompt service for all guests. Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods in a fast food or quick service restaurant setting. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience working in a café, retail store, grocery store, or restaurant environment is advantageous. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed.
