This role works closely with internal stakeholders - including Legal, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and senior leadership - as well as external customers and suppliers to identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (including FAR and DFARS), maintain accurate records, and facilitate effective contract execution and performance.What You'll DoAs a Contracts Manager, you'll be responsible for:Review, analyze, and interpret purchase orders, terms and conditions, contracts, statements of work (SOWs), non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and other contractual documents to understand obligations and identify potential risksIdentify, assess, and mitigate contractual and compliance risks in alignment with company guidelines, policies, legal requirements, and customer or supplier specificationsPrepare, complete, and submit supplier and customer certifications, representations, and other required documentationCoordinate internal reviews and approvals at appropriate levels, escalating issues to the FDH General Counsel as needed for guidance or final sign-offMaintain, organize, and update contract files, records, and databases to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and audit readiness.Communicate and present contract-related information, status updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders across departments and levels of seniorityCollaborate and coordinate closely with FDH General Counsel and other cross-functional teams to support contract strategy, negotiations, issue resolution, and overall complianceSupport contract administration activities, including monitoring performance, processing modifications/amendments, tracking deliverables, and facilitating closeoutsEnsure ongoing compliance with applicable regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other relevant government contracting requirementsAssist in responding to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), or other solicitations by providing contractual input and risk analysis under guidance from LegalContribute to process improvements in contract management practices to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and support business objectivesWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, Business, or a related field3+ years of experience in contract management, paralegal work, or a related contracts/compliance roleDemonstrated understanding of Government contracting regulations, including FAR and DFARSExperience in the aerospace industry is a plusSpecial Requirements:U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) orasylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.ITAR Requirement120.15.
