Chief Flight Medic

Provides patient care and treatment aboard helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft, demonstrating clinical competencies. Assists with quality improvement, staff development, policy creation, and operational coordination. Engages with service providers, trauma teams, physicians, and community outreach. Reports to the Program Director or Administrative Officer.Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an approved EMT-P Paramedic program, and at least three years of experience in advanced life support or critical care; experience in flight or air medical transport is preferred. Must hold a current EMT-P license from the Texas Department of State Health Services, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and other relevant certifications, obtained within specified timeframes. Additional certifications like FP-C or CCP-C are required within two years.Additional state licenses may be necessary based on service type.*
