In this role, you will carry out advanced maintenance and repairs on a wide range of ground support equipment.RESPONSIBILITIESService equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid and compressed airLog equipment numbers to be repaired with description of work to be done on each pieceInspect, Maintain, Troubleshoot, Replace, Repair, or Modify:Engines and transmissionsElectrical systemsBrakes and braking systemsHydraulic and pneumatic systems on mobile lift and conveyor systemsBumpers and body workBag cart curtains & curtain rodsTowing hitches and towing barsUndercarriages, wheels and tiresBushings, shafts, end places, springs, coils, armatures, push rods, valves, manifolds, tubing, hose and wiringDiagnose, Troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, industry standards and safety regulationsRemove, test, repair or replace components and accessories such as carburetors, governors, air and oil cleaners, ignition points and auditory sensorsCheck and adjust tolerance of valves, bearings, cams, clutches and drive shaftsDiagnose problems using test equipment and applicable manualsOperate and test ground equipment for performance assessmentCompleted associated paperwork and track partsAdhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleaguesExemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standardsPerform any additional duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United States3 years of verified experience requiredMust provide their own tools and toolboxDemonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job locationMust have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving recordCommunicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile DevicesEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansPass a background check and drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
