Construction AdministratorSt. Paul, MN or Madison, WI | Direct Hire | $90k - $105k| HybridKonik is partnering with a well-respected, design-focused architecture firm to add a Construction Administrator to their team. This role supports large, complex projects across commercial, healthcare, and institutional markets, working closely with design teams, contractors, and ownership groups to ensure successful execution through the construction phase.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems in real time, and acting as the bridge between design intent and construction reality.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in project handoff from the design team following completion of construction documentsRepresent the design team and owner during construction to ensure alignment with project intentAttend Owner, Architect, and Contractor meetings and provide project updatesConduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and complianceReview and respond to RFIs, submittals, and field issuesCoordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve challengesSupport project delivery by helping maintain schedule, budget, and quality expectationsManage multiple active projects simultaneously across varying stages of constructionQualifications8+ years of experience in construction administration, architecture, or related fieldExperience working on complex commercial or institutional projectsBackground in an architectural or consulting environment strongly preferredStrong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and field coordinationProficiency with Bluebeam, Revit is a bonusAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities effectivelyStrong communication and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel within the Midwest; mostly day travel with occasional overnight tripsWhat Will Set You ApartExperience acting as a liaison between design teams and contractors during constructionComfort working in technically complex environments with high expectations for accuracyAbility to anticipate issues in the field and proactively drive solutionsProfessional presence when working with clients, contractors, and internal teamsCompensation & BenefitsStrong year-end bonus and profit-sharing program401(k) with guaranteed safe harbor contribution + additional company performance contributionsCompetitive PTO with the ability to accrue additional time through project workloadComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefitsLong-term stability within a high-performing, well-established firmBe the first to learn about future positions by joining our Newsletter and following us on LinkedIn!Konik is an equal opportunity employer.
