Python Backend / AI Agent Engineer - Medicaid

5+ years of experience in Python backend development, SQL, FastAPI, REST APIs, and microservices. Design and develop scalable backend services and AI/Agentic AI workflows for Healthcare / Medicaid R2R processes. Build and orchestrate AI agents for reconciliation, variance analysis, exception investigation, and financial close automation. Implement agent state management, routing, tool/function calling, retries, checkpoints, RAG, and human-in-the-loop approvals. Integrate agents with enterprise databases, APIs, rules engines, and governed data platforms. Ensure automated testing, observability, logging, tracing, security (IAM/RBAC), CI/CD, and production deployment.
