This team delivers design and construction-focused solutions across controls, instrumentation, and life safety systems, partnering closely with project stakeholders to execute high-reliability systems.Role OverviewSeeking a design/construction-focused Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Discipline Specialist to support the development of complete I&C and Life Safety Systems (LSS) design packages. This role contributes across controls architecture, documentation, and code-compliant life safety design, working with minimal oversight.What You'll DoCreate complete I&C/LSS design packages including P&IDs, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, and control narratives.Support controls and automation design efforts involving PLC, DCS, and related controls applications.Contribute to fire alarm and life safety system design work in alignment with applicable codes and standards (e.g., NFPA 72, UL 508A) and produce/coordinate drawings in AutoCAD and Navisworks.Who You AreBachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program in Electrical, Fire Protection, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.Engineer in Training (EIT) certification and 4+ years of experience with Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) and/or Life Safety Systems (LSS).Working knowledge of PLC/DCS systems, fire alarm and life safety regulations/requirements, AutoCAD and Navisworks, UL 508A, and NFPA 72; familiarity with Siemens PLC systems and Edwards EST3/EST4 fire alarm control systems.
