Line Cook

Position Overview We’re looking for an experienced Line Cook who can thrive in a high‑energy, fast‑paced casual dining environment. This role is responsible for preparing menu items to spec, maintaining station readiness, and supporting smooth kitchen operations during busy shifts. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and committed to delivering great food every time. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards Set up, stock, and maintain assigned station before, during, and after service Work quickly and efficiently during high‑volume periods while maintaining accuracy Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to maintain flow and timing Assist with prep work, portioning, and daily kitchen tasks as needed Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift Support team members and contribute to a positive kitchen environment Qualifications 1–2 years of line cook experience in a fast‑paced kitchen preferred Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and quality standards Excellent time management and multitasking skills Dependable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Opportunities for growth and cross‑training Supportive team culture Employee meals  More detail about Christopher's A Neighborhood Place, please visit
