Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, the Physician Assistant functions in a team and mission-based setting to deliver primary care. This includes health promotion/maintenance, counseling, education, assessment, acute/chronic care, and consultation/collaboration with supervising physicians, other health care professionals, and community resources. Exercises progressive levels of autonomy in day-to-day activities based on satisfactory job performance. QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing: Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies; a minimum of one year?s experience is desirable. National certification in a specialty is preferred.Necessary special requirements: Licensed by the State of Oregon as a Physician Assistant, certified by the State of Oregon as a Physician Assistant, and Prescriptive privileges.Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; additional languages preferred.Ability to be credentialed with Medicaid, Medicare, private and other insurance.Maintain confidentiality ? in accordance with WCHC policies and HIPAA regulations. Working Hours: Flexible work schedule 5-8?s, 4-10?s. (40) hours per week.
