Right Price.Position: Mechanical - Engine Support EngineerLocation: Lafayette, IndianaDuration: 12 months contract with possible extension Position's Contributions to Work Group:New Product Introduction executionCoordination with component engineers to ensure program requirements are metHelping to ensure customer success by implementing new products to meet our customers' needs Why this Role?Exposure to various component teams and leadership with an ability to impact the team in an extremely positive way with a strong customer focus. Typical task breakdown:Create and maintain BOM spreadsheet for pricing arrangement structure Collaboration with component & platform teams as appropriate to achieve proper product structureResponsible for prove design parts management, ordering, shipping, etc. to support proto builds and lab or field testsCollaborate with the Customer Service and A&I group to update O&M manuals, A&I guides, parts books, O&O costs, service manuals, etc. Interaction with team: Leading meetings with component engineers, working under a team lead on in the platform group. Team Structure:G3500 engine platform team supporting NTI, NPI, and CPI.
