About the Opportunity:
The JAVA DEVELOPER role focuses on collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and improve scalable, high-quality technology solutions. This position contributes to delivering innovative software that drives business impact and enhances user experience within a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Object-Oriented Design principles.
Utilize Java frameworks and technologies including Advanced JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
Implement and manage microservices architectures with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Apply DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Develop web applications; experience with Angular is advantageous.
Work with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and Open
Telemetry.
Integrate and utilize Apache Kafka.
Develop cloud-native applications using Kubernetes.
Support test automation efforts.
Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly across teams.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Java programming and Object-Oriented Design.
- Experience with Java frameworks: Advanced JEE, Spring, Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD automation.
- Experience with web development; Angular experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of AWS and observability tools.
- Experience with Apache Kafka.
- Test automation experience preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $73,150 to $174,000.
