Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Hope AR
Pay: $35/hour
Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 2:00pm

Summary: Repairs and maintains machinery, electrical equipment, production machines and equipment. Perform housekeeping duties to keep a clean and organized work area while putting safety first. May also perform a variety of building and facilities maintenance tasks.
Essential Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, drives, sensors, PLC hardware, control panels, and production equipment
Perform advanced electrical diagnostics using meters, schematics, and technical documentation
Support PLC-related troubleshooting, component replacement, and basic controls support
Maintain and repair manufacturing machinery and facility systems to maximize uptime and efficiency
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical prints, and equipment manuals
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Fabricate and modify components using machine shop tools (lathe, mill, drill press, etc.) as needed
Perform welding and cutting (MIG, TIG, stick, torch) when required
Work with motors, drives, gear reducers, hydraulics, and pneumatics in an industrial environment
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
Maintain a strong safety culture and comply with all electrical and plant safety standards
Collaborate with operations and engineering to resolve equipment and process issues
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Documented industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
Proven experience in troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and production equipment
Strong knowledge of motors, controls, sensors, PLC’s, and electrical distribution systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Proficiency using electrical diagnostic tools (multimeters, ammeters, etc.)
Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment (hardware troubleshooting required)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a production setting
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to breakdowns
