Application Development – JavaScript/SQL Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a Junior to Intermediate Application Developer to support the development of a new inspections application used by field personnel for data collection and reporting. The primary responsibility of this role will be converting approximately 70 existing fillable PDF inspection forms into interactive HTML-based forms. The developer will use JavaScript to create form functionality, save collected data to a SQL database, and support the generation of PDF documents from submitted information. This is a hands-on development opportunity for someone with strong foundational skills in JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and CSS who is interested in gaining additional experience with Python, Jinja, Docker, and Git/GitHub. Key Responsibilities * Convert existing fillable PDF forms into interactive HTML forms. * Develop front-end functionality using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. * Connect application forms to SQL databases for storing inspection data. * Write and modify SQL queries to support application functionality. * Assist with generating PDF documents from collected form data using Jinja templates. * Test forms and application functionality for accuracy and usability. * Troubleshoot and resolve application issues. * Provide additional JavaScript development support as needed. * Work with the development team to help keep project milestones on schedule. * Maintain clean and organized application code and documentation. Required Skills * Hands-on experience with *JavaScript*. * Working knowledge of *SQL*; T-SQL experience is preferred but not required. * Experience with *HTML*. * Experience with *CSS*. * Understanding of web forms and data collection. * Basic understanding of relational databases. * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues. * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Preferred Skills Experience with the following is a plus but is not required: * Python * Jinja / Jinja2 * Docker * Git * GitHub * PDF generation or document automation * T-SQL * Web application development Qualifications * Beginner to intermediate level application development experience. * Relevant education, technical training, certifications, or equivalent hands-on experience. * Ability to work independently while collaborating with a development team. * Strong problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to work full-time on-site in Oklahoma City. Work Schedule * Monday through Friday * 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM * Full-time * Some scheduling flexibility may be available. * This position requires on-site work in Oklahoma City, OK 73105.
