We work directly with business owners and leadership teams to help them understand their numbers, plan for growth, and make better decisions.This role is ideal for an FP&A professional who enjoys variety, client interaction, and building something alongside a founder.Role OverviewAVO Support is hiring a entry to mid-level FP&A Analyst to support client budgeting, forecasting, and financial analytics. This is a client-facing role that works closely with the Founder/CFO and plays a key role in delivering high-quality financial insights to business owners.You will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models, preparing forecasts and budgets, analyzing performance, and proactively identifying insights and recommendations for clients. While the Founder will lead client meetings, you will actively participate, contribute analysis, and help shape recommendations.This is not a back-office reporting role—this position requires strong judgment, curiosity, and the confidence to propose ideas and challenge assumptions.Key ResponsibilitiesClient FP&A & Financial Modeling· Build and maintain detailed budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models for multiple client engagementsDevelop and refine Excel-based financial models to support decision-making, scenario analysis, and growth planningLeverage AI and machine learning tools to enhance financial modeling, automate data analysis, and generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-makingAnalyze monthly performance vs. budget/forecast and identify key drivers, risks, and opportunitiesCreate clear, concise financial summaries and visuals for client reviewClient Engagement & Advisory SupportParticipate in client meetings alongside the Founder/CFO to discuss financial performance, forecasts, and strategic considerationsPrepare pre-meeting analysis and post-meeting follow-upsTranslate financial data into actionable insights for non-financial business ownersProactively suggest improvements, alternative scenarios, or analytical approaches for client situationsInternal & Continuous ImprovementImprove modeling standards, templates, and analytical processes across the firmHelp scale FP&A capabilities as AVO Support growsAssist with internal financial analysis and forecasting for AVO Support as neededIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality of deliverablesRequired Qualifications0–5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or a similar analytical role preferredAdvanced Excel skills (complex models, scenario analysis, structured modeling; Power Query a plus)Strong understanding of:Budgeting and forecastingCash flow analysisVariance analysisExperience working with or presenting to business owners or senior leadershipAbility to think critically, ask good questions, and propose thoughtful recommendations—not just execute instructionsStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience supporting small to mid-sized businessesBackground in professional services, consulting, or outsourced financeExposure to QuickBooks Online or similar accounting systemsExperience working in a multi-client or fast-paced environmentWhat Success Looks LikeClients trust your analysis and rely on your insightsFinancial models are clean, logical, and decision-readyYou proactively identify issues and opportunities before being askedYou operate with a high level of ownership and accountabilityYou grow with the firm as responsibilities expandGrowth OpportunityAs AVO Support continues to grow, this role is expected to expand in scope and responsibility, with opportunities to:Take on more direct client ownershipMentor junior analysts as the team growsEvolve into a senior advisory or FP&A leadership roleWhy AVO SupportDirect access to and mentorship from the Founder/CFOMeaningful client impact and real decision-making exposureA collaborative, high-trust environment
