This is a high-impact position with direct exposure to leadership and an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to product direction, technical standards, and team culture.Location: Candidates should be based in Austin, TX, as the product and leadership teams operate locally in an in-office model.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain scalable backend systems and user-facing products Contribute to evolving system architecture with a focus on performance and reliability Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure technical work aligns with business needs Promote engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, and documentation Ideal Qualifications5+ years of professional experience in software engineering Strong backend experience, ideally with Ruby or similar languages Familiarity with React or other modern frontend frameworks is a plus Experience with infrastructure tools like AWS and Terraform is a bonus
