Front Desk PM shift and Night Audit

The Fairfield Inn - Elizabethtown is seeking a customer service driven star to join our team. The Front Desk PM shift and Night Auditor must have a great personality and want to be part of fun team. The shifts available are 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am and must be able to work weekends. We are needing someone to cover a few PM shifts and a couple night audit shifts. Marriott experience is preferred but not required.Essential FunctionsAble to perform all front desk job dutiesMake reservations, check in guests, makes keysOffer top notch customer serviceBasic accounting skillsResponsible for all reconciliation and completion of all daily front desk and outlet workPerform the property management system night audit to change to the new dayRun and distribute reportsKey in sales into program in order to report salesReview and communicate any issuesHandle guest complaints or situations that need immediate attentionKnow all procedures for emergency situationsSpecific Job Knowledge, Skill and AbilityThe individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions, and practice the hospitality functions, with or without reasonable accommodations, using some other combinations of skills and abilities. Use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. Ability to stand and move throughout the front office area and continuously perform essential job functions. Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
