Position Overview:The Account Executive - Audiovisual (AV) is responsible for driving new and existing business, achieving sales targets, and building long-term client relationships. This role owns the full sales cycle-from prospecting and needs discovery through closing and post-sale account management.This individual serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and works closely with internal teams to deliver AV/IT solutions that meet client needs. Depending on experience, this role may support mid-market opportunities or lead more complex, enterprise-level engagements.Skills & Core StrengthsConsultative, solution-based sellingPipeline development and territory managementClient relationship building and account managementProposal development and negotiationAV/IT industry knowledge and solution positioningStrong communication and presentation skillsCross-functional collaborationAbility to work independently and manage prioritiesWhat You'll DoOwn full-cycle sales activities including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing businessAchieve or exceed assigned revenue and gross margin targetsDevelop and execute a territory plan aligned to business objectivesIdentify client needs and translate them into effective AV/IT solutionsBuild and maintain strong client relationships before, during, and after the salePrepare and deliver proposals, bids, and presentations, including scope, timelines, and change ordersPartner with engineering, project management, and operations to support successful project executionMaintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasts, and client data in CRMIdentify growth opportunities within existing accounts and new prospectsSupport resolution of client issues related to scope, schedule, or commercial termsParticipate in industry events, trainings, and internal meetingsWhat We're Looking ForAssociate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's preferred3-7+ years (Account Executive) or 7-12+ years (Senior-level) of consultative sales experience in AV/IT, technology integration, or a related industryExperience managing sales cycles; exposure to complex or enterprise deals at higher levelsStrong ability to identify client needs and develop effective solutionsWorking knowledge of AV/IT systems and integration environmentsProficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platformsStrong verbal, written, and presentation skillsAbility to manage a territory, priorities, and deadlines independentlyComfortable in client-facing environments, including executive-level interactionsWillingness to travel as needed, including occasional overnight travelExperience LevelLevel will be determined based on experience, scope of past work, and ability to manage complex opportunities.Account Executive: Focus on developing pipeline, managing small to mid-sized opportunities, and building client relationshipsSenior Account Executive: Leads complex or enterprise opportunities, brings established relationships, and operates with a high level of independenceAbout UsAvidex is a leading AV/IT integration company delivering innovative technology solutions across corporate, healthcare, education, and enterprise environments.
