Curb Machine Operator
We are seeking an experienced *Curb Machine Operator* to operate concrete slip-form equipment and support roadway and paving projects. The ideal candidate has concrete construction experience, strong equipment operation skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Operate *curb machines/slip-form equipment* to pour and shape concrete curbs, sidewalks, and barriers.
* Set up and adjust equipment for proper *grade, elevation, and finish*.
* Read blueprints, grade stakes, and site plans.
* Operate heavy equipment including *excavators, loaders, skid steers, and backhoes*.
* Perform concrete finishing and other manual labor as needed.
* Operate *CDL A vehicles* to transport equipment and materials.
* Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
* Safely load, secure, and unload equipment and materials.
* Follow *OSHA and company safety requirements*.
* Work with crews, supervisors, and clients to meet project requirements and deadlines.
*Qualifications*
* Experience operating *concrete slip-form/curb machines required*.
* Valid *CDL A* preferred.
* Ability to read grading plans, blueprints, and site layouts.
* Experience operating heavy construction equipment.
* Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Strong safety awareness, reliability, and communication skills.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including *nights and weekends*.
* Spanish-speaking (Preferred)
*Additional Requirements:* Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.
Pay: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour
