Finance Intern
OverviewThis Intern will rotate through our Accounting, Finance, and Finance Support departments.They will gain exposure to core financial operations, including accounts payable, accountsreceivable, general ledger, financial reporting, and support functions that enable day-to-dayfinance operations. The intern will assist in monthly close processes and provide generaladministrative and operational support across the finance organization.ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities listed below are representative of the types of work performed within the role and may vary based on departmental rotation and business needs.Provide administrative support, including data entry, document organization, and maintaining financial recordsSupport audit requests by gathering and organizing documentationAssist with vendor and customer inquiries and route requests appropriatelyAnalyze and reconcile accountsAssist with the monthly close process across departmentsPrepare basic financial reports for managementEnter journal entries and support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activitiesAssist with invoice processing, tracking, and follow-upsHelp manage shared finance inboxes and communicationsCollaborate with IT on system integrations and invoicing-related processesAssist with process documentation and improvement initiativesSupport ad hoc finance, accounting, and operational projects as neededQualificationsCurrent Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceStrong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordAttention to detailStrong organizational and analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsExperience in an Accounting or Reporting system a plusWe are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $22/hour.
