Boys Bowling Coach - High School

Reeths-Puffer High School Position Posting: Bowling Coach (High School) Position Summary: Reeths-Puffer High School is seeking a knowledgeable and committed Bowling Coach to lead its high school bowling program. The coach will be responsible for building a competitive program while fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among student-athletes. Responsibilities:Plan and conduct effective practices focused on skill development and competitive preparationInstruct athletes in proper bowling techniques, strategy, and match playOrganize and supervise all team activities, including practices, meets, and tournamentsPromote academic success and monitor student-athlete eligibilityModel and reinforce positive sportsmanship and characterCommunicate clearly with athletes, parents, school staff, and administrationManage program logistics, including scheduling, equipment, uniforms, and transportationMaintain compliance with all school district policies and Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) rules and regulationsOversee assistant coaches (if applicable) and support overall program development Qualifications:Prior coaching experience at the high school or equivalent level preferredCompetitive bowling experience and strong knowledge of the sportDemonstrated leadership and organizational skillsAbility to motivate and connect with high school student-athletesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Must meet all district and state requirements for coaching, including successful background check Deadline: Until position is filled
