We are dedicated to decoding culture to unlock sustained, meaningful influence for brands.We are looking for a culturally-connected and dynamic Account Supervisor to join our consumer lifestyle group working on accounts in the food and beverage space. This role will have a high focus on consumer media relations, influencer engagement and project management.What You'll Do:ClientServe as a key day-to-day client contactDemonstrate a solid understanding of client's business and industryDevelop long term plans and program recommendations for clientsProvide client counsel on tactical matters, linked to strategic plansGenerate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program successDirect client editorial programsDevelop client presentationsMediaKnow the industry issues that directly and indirectly affect the clientDemonstrate a well-developed knowledge of relevant client mediaGenerate ideas for media outreach and pitch effortsConduct media outreachWrite and/or edit media relations materialsQualify media inquiriesDirect and supervise the logistics of events (eg: satellite media tours, desk side briefings, editor events, etc.)Supervise media list developmentWritingDevelop proposals, releases, customer profiles, bylined articles and other press materialsAccount for quality control and final review of all letters, memos, meeting reports, and client materialsInstruct staff in the areas of writing and editing as necessaryContribute to the development of strategic client plansTeam DevelopmentDevelop work plan of junior team membersEnsure quality work from team in order to meet/exceed client expectationsTrain and develop staffConduct performance reviewsBe involved in staffing of team, including reviewing resumes and interviewing candidatesServe as a role model to other team membersAttend account reviews and staff meetings provide ongoing communications and feedbackSuccessfully contribute to the growth of existing accountsActively participate in agency development and assist with new businessQualifications:EducationBachelor's DegreeProfessional Experience6-9 years related professional experienceSuccess FactorsCan convey ownership of assigned projects to junior team membersDemonstrates the ability to resolve conflictsCan mobilize and motivate teamAble to work independentlyExcellent oral and written business communication skillsAptitude for financial analysisCan complete challenging projects within set parametersExceptional judgment when working with team members, client contacts and vendorsEstablished skills in planning and crisis communicationInstills confidence with clients and colleaguesCommitment and dedication to the agency's success as well as individual careerDesire to pursue learning and self development; participates in required and voluntary professional development programs.Can anticipate client and team needsAttention to detail and qualityCan solve problemsCan impress new business prospectsSalary: $90,000-$120,000DeVries has included the base salary or hourly rate for this role.
