About the Opportunity:The eBilling Analyst is responsible for managing all aspects of electronic invoice submissions and resolving related issues for the law firm''s e-billed clients. This role ensures accurate, timely billing while providing expert support to attorneys, management, and clients. It plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with client and firm billing guidelines and supports the transition and ongoing use of e-billing platforms. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple levels of management.3. Responsibilities:• Work with the client’s E-billing Manager on ad-hoc e-billing requests• Submit electronic invoices and accruals monthly, manage client transitions to e-billing, and support attorneys and clients• Handle complex e-submission assignments for key corporate clients, ensuring compliance with all guidelines• Serve as liaison between billing attorneys, secretarial staff, and client electronic billing teams• Coordinate resubmission of invoices with billing and client representatives, ensuring corrective actions• Maintain and update billing system data and external client web applications for assigned clients• Collaborate with department supervisor on e-billing system administration including user accounts, security, budgets, and matter profiles• Perform ad hoc analyses of client accounts related to collections, rates, and invoice issues4. Requirements:• Associate degree preferred, preferably in Business, Accounting, or Finance; relevant experience may substitute for education• Minimum 1 year of e-billing experience in a corporate law department or law firm• Familiarity with legal billing and Middleware systems such as Legal Exchange, Ty Metrix 360, Legal-X, Serengeti/Legal Tracker is a plus• Proven experience with BillBlast• Knowledge of Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) billing formats is beneficial• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook• Strong analytical, reading comprehension, and problem-solving skills• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment• Capability to influence senior and executive-level stakeholders within and outside client groups5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• The salary range for this role is $28.00 - 30.00 per hour• Starting pay decisions are based on education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and business needs• Total compensation may include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay6.
