We'd love to have you join our team to help in this mission.Banfield's here for you so you can be there for pets!We're looking for Client Service Coordinators (CSCs) who drive the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, maximize the productivity of the veterinary medical team (in terms of numbers of clients and pets), ensure good communication with associates and clients, and coordinate the care of clients and pets in a happy, welcoming, friendly and efficient manner, influencing clients to return and refer their friends and families. We're looking for CSCs who are dedicated to their work, have a positive attitude and use our Five Principles -- Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency and Freedom -- as their guide.Preferred education/licenses/experience:High School Diploma or equivalent preferredMust be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography (x-ray) and exposure to radioactive substancesOne year related experience with customer service preferredMedical background (veterinary, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferredA Day in the Life of a Banfield Client Service CoordinatorThe CSC provides professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times, making sure that clients and pets are comfortable in the hospital. Every associate including the CSC has an important contribution to make to the veterinary team. We're looking for CSCs who are dedicated to their work, have a positive attitude and use our Five Principles -- Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency and Freedom as their guide.Role responsibilitiesLive and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and teamActively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical teamMaximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive and efficiently run hospital to support the needs of our wellness plan clientsProvide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times. This includes encouraging hospital visits, welcoming clients and pets, ensuring that they are comfortable in the hospital, and educating them about their pet's healthEducate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs and hospital servicesAssist incoming clients by completing the required documentation, entering all pet information and history in the computer, utilizing proper collars and tags for identification, and ensuring prompt serviceAssist outgoing clients by providing all necessary instructions, information and invoices, dispensing prescription items per the veterinarian's instructions, selling retail products and scheduling future appointmentsManage the finances by maintaining accurate balances and utilizing proper opening and closing proceduresConduct administrative functions as necessaryOther job duties as assigned.What we offerNow the good stuff!
