DataStage Developer

*Required Skills and Responsibilities:* * DataStage * SQL * Understanding of dimensionally-designed databases * Experience interacting with a relational database including DB2 and Oracle * Ability to analyze complex data flows and understand existing jobs. * DB2 knowledge * Banking, specifically FDIC, knowledge would be a plus * Design ETL solutions and data conversion strategy and solutions for multiple disparate systems using Oracle and Informatica * Create end-to-end solution for ETL transformational jobs that involve writing Informatica workflows and mappings, and creating database Packages, procedures and functions * Develop, maintain, and enhance Informatica Mappings, Work-flows, and processes * Support proper functioning and performance tuning of Informatica platform * Translate business requirements into functional / technical specifications * Designing and coding DataStage packages * Prepare root cause analysis documents, conduct code review, and test and tune the developed jobs * Provide inputs to testing strategy, configuration, deployment, hardware/software requirement * Identify avenues to improve project delivery parameters (eg productivity, efficiency, process, security etc) by leveraging tools, automation * Understand various technical tools used in the project (third party homegrown) to improve efficiency, productivity Job Types: Contract, Full-time Pay: $55.00 - $62.00 per hour Compensation Package: * Hourly pay * Yearly pay Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Cincinnati, OH 45202: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: * Informatica: 8 years (Required) * SQL: 8 years (Required) * DataStage: 8 years (Required) * DB2: 3 years (Required) * Banking: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
