This position is ideal for a highly organized HR professional who enjoys balancing operational excellence, employee support, and recruiting coordination in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and service-minded, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering a strong employee and candidate experience. You will partner closely with leadership, hiring managers, and external partners—including our PEO—to support recruiting, onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, talent processes, and HR systems management.This is a hybrid remote position based in Western Pennsylvania or Ohio with occasional travel as needed.What You’ll Do:Recruiting & Talent CoordinationCoordinate full-cycle recruitment processes including job postings, applicant tracking, screening, and interview schedulingPost and promote open roles across recruiting platforms and ATS systemsReview resumes and applications to identify qualified candidatesConduct initial candidate screenings and participate in interviews with hiring managersCoordinate interview logistics and candidate communicationPrepare and distribute offer letters and onboarding documentationEmployee Onboarding & HR OperationsCoordinate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experiencePartner with Tech and Finance teams to coordinate equipment setup, system access, and employee provisioning/deactivationMaintain accurate employee records and HR documentationUpdate and manage HR systems including platforms such as Lattice and Google WorkspaceSupport benefits administration and act as a liaison with the company’s PEO partnerFacilitate leave administration processes, including tracking and compliance supportEmployee Experience & Performance SupportSupport employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and reporting effortsCoordinate annual performance review and talent review processesAssist managers and employees throughout the performance cycle with reminders, guidance, and system supportRespond to employee inquiries with professionalism and a customer-first mindsetSupport employee relations matters and help foster a positive work environmentAssist with internal communications and policy implementationProcess Improvement & ComplianceSupport HR audits and ensure documentation accuracy and completenessContribute ideas and process improvements that enhance HR operations and employee experienceHelp ensure consistent and compliant application of HR policies and proceduresWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field — or equivalent experience4+ years of experience in HR operations, HR generalist, or HR coordinator rolesExperience conducting candidate screenings and interviewsExperience coordinating performance management or talent review cyclesFamiliarity with ATS platforms such as Breezy or similar systemsExperience working with HRIS and engagement platforms such as LatticeExperience partnering with a PEO preferredStrong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail)Retail and/or eCommerce experience preferredStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, digitally driven environmentWork Environment:Primarily sedentary work involving extended computer useRemote and office-based work environment with minimal physical strainOccasional travel required (<10%)Why Join Us?At The Digital Stronghold, you’ll join a team that values collaboration, curiosity, accountability, and thoughtful execution.
