Safety ManagerTilcon New York Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Safety Manager to lead, implement, and continuously improve health, safety, and environmental programs across operations. This role serves as a strategic business partner to Operations, working collaboratively across multiple lines of business, sites, and functional teams to foster a strong, proactive safety culture.The Safety Manager balances visible field leadership with program management, ensuring regulatory compliance while driving practical, operations-focused solutions that protect employees, contractors, and the environment.Key Responsibilities:Act as a visible safety leader across multiple facilities, reinforcing accountability and shared ownership of safety outcomes.Partner with operations leaders and frontline teams to integrate safety into daily work planning and execution.Promote a culture where safety is a core value and operational excellence is achieved without compromise.Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, HR, and Environmental teams to identify risks and implement effective controls.Provide practical, field-based guidance to address hazards, incidents, and near misses.Lead the implementation and ongoing management of safety programs including injury and illness prevention, ergonomics, chemical and hazardous materials safety, contractor safety, emergency preparedness and response.Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA, MSHA, federal, state, and local regulations.Lead or support incident investigations, ensuring effective root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for employees and leaders.Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development for safety staff.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (safety, environmental, engineering, or related field preferred).Minimum of 58 years of progressive safety experience in an industrial, construction, manufacturing, or materials environment.Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1910, OSHA 1926, and/or MSHA regulations.Experience partnering directly with operations in a multi-site environment.What CRH Offers You:Highly competitive base pay of $100,000 to $120,000 plus annual bonus.Vehicle reimbursement stipend.Comprehensive medical, dental, and disability benefits programs.Group retirement savings program.Health and wellness programs.An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion.About CRH:CRH has a long and proud heritage.
