Job Description Direct Counsel is representing a well-known Am Law 100 firm seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate for its Denver office.Position: Associate – Commercial LitigationLocation: Denver, CO (Hybrid)Compensation: $200,000 – $245,000 annually, based on experience, plus discretionary bonus. Comprehensive benefits package provided.Practice Summary:The Litigation Department is comprised of over 600 litigators across multiple U.S. and international offices. The practice is uniquely positioned to handle complex domestic and global litigation matters, offering tailored legal solutions to meet the industry, practice, and jurisdictional needs of a diverse client base.Responsibilities:Handle complex litigation matters in both federal and state courts in Colorado and other jurisdictions.Apply knowledge of federal, state, and local rules to manage active cases.Draft legal documents, conduct research, and prepare briefs and motions.Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.Manage competing deadlines across multiple cases and clients.Collaborate with a team of litigators while maintaining high standards of professionalism and client service.Qualifications:Juris Doctor degree and admission to the Colorado Bar.2–4 years of litigation experience, ideally with exposure to complex commercial matters.Strong academic credentials with excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.High energy, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
