We design and deliver a mixture of technologies across North America and are known for our continuous innovation.The Traffic Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced traffic signal systems and intelligent transportation solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative traffic management systems that optimize traffic flow and enhance road safety.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop traffic signal systems and intelligent transportation solutions.Collaborate with civil engineers and traffic engineers to ensure integration of traffic management systems into urban infrastructure.Conduct feasibility studies and traffic analyses to support project development.Manage product lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.Oversee the implementation and maintenance of traffic controllers and sensor products.Develop software solutions in Python and C/C++ for traffic management applications.Provide technical support for clients and stakeholders regarding traffic signal systems and technologies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic engineering or intelligent transportation systems.Proficiency in traffic signal design and traffic management systems.Strong knowledge of embedded software development and networking concepts including TCP, VLANs, and routing.Experience with sensor products and detection technologies such as radar and video.Familiarity with product management principles and product lifecycle processes.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.BenefitsMedical, dental, vision insuranceFSA planLife insuranceLong-term disability insurance401k with matchPet insuranceWeekly payPTOPaid Holidays
