We are seeking an experienced High-Level PCB Assembler to support our growing operations. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with strong rework and soldering expertise who can build, modify, and repair complex printed circuit board assemblies to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Build through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) PCB assemblies per controlled documentation
Perform rework and repair of PCB assemblies, including trace cuts and jumper additions
Hand-solder SMT and THT components to IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards
Wire and solder prototypes and complex assemblies of unique designs
Operate equipment such as aqueous cleaners and component placement tools
Assist with wave solder and selective solder processes
Cut, form, and manually place components
Assemble chassis and electromechanical components using various hardware
Recommend documentation improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
Provide guidance and support to PCB Assembler I & II team members
Maintain strict adherence to quality standards and workmanship guidelines
Qualifications & Skills
Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
Strong component identification knowledge
Proven soldering skills meeting IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards
Experience with PCB rework (SMT & THT) and rework soldering equipment
Proficiency using SN63, SN96, and HMP solder materials
Ability to assemble medium to highly complex electronic assemblies
Strong attention to detail in high-volume, precision-driven environments
Ability to handle small, delicate components with accuracy
Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Required Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 5 years of PCB assembly experience (including rework)
