Developer 2 - Front End Job ID 2025-12538 # of Openings 1 Job LocationsRemote - U.S. Category Engineering and TestingOverviewThe Developer is responsible for the overall performance of Hyland's cloud-native platform through applying principles of software engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of the software. The Developer ensures timely delivery of high quality software within the release timelines and helps drive the platform's strategy for Identity and Access Management.ResponsibilitiesDevelop code based on functional specifications and thorough understanding of product code; identify refactoring opportunities and architectural improvementsLearn and implement the latest cloud-native technologies on a full-stack delivery team Test code to verify it meets the technical specifications and is working as intended, before submitting to code reviewCreate and apply automated tests and test principles to software changes, including (but not limited to) unit testsContribute to standards and processes as applicable to software development methodology, including planning, work estimation, solution demos, and reviewsComplete logic and algorithm design in alignment with established standardsPerform moderately complex peer code reviewsRead software requirements and understand impact on design specificationsContribute to the implementation of delivery pipeline, including test automation, security, and performance.Understand business, application, and coding tasks to make data-driven recommendations for internal process improvements and product documentationProvide troubleshooting support for moderately complex production issues or software code issues to ensure the stability of the applicationBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceExperience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: JavaScript, C#, Java, or C/C++Experience with one or more front-end frameworks including but not limited to: Angular or ReactExperience working with public cloud providers including but not limited to: AWS or AzureExperience designing, implementing, and consuming APIs including REST and GraphQLExperience working with Identity and Access Management concepts (OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, etc.) is preferredExperience working with container and container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) is preferredExperience with continuous software delivery, automated pipelines, configuration-as-code, and observability toolsExperience working in Windows/Linux development environment, working with open source tools/platformsExperience with data structures, algorithms, and software designExperience with test automation and continuous integration toolsKnowledge of software application testing tools, methodologies, and process frameworkGood oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tactGood collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areasGood critical thinking and problem solving skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with oversightAbility to work independently and in a team environmentGood attention to detailDriven to learn and stay current professionallyPassionate, competitive and intellectually curiousSharp, fast learner with technology curiosity and aptitudeAbility to provide technical and constructive feedback to team membersUp to 10% travel time requiredBased on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $81,000-110,000 and eligible for benefits.Welcome to #HylandLifeSince 1991, it has been Hyland's mission to help our employees, customers and partners exceed their potential with our industry-leading content services platform.
