Whether managing water treatment at the award-winning plant, maintaining the $730 million in infrastructure, or ensuring and protecting long-term water, Castle Rock Water has many opportunities available to learn and grow with the organization.Areas of Focus by Division:Water DistributionThis position is responsible for performing seasonal snow removal, and a variety of specialized maintenance functions primarily related to water distribution, Stormwater and Collection operation, construction, repair, maintenance and replacement of the Town's water, sewer and storm water lines, facilities and infrastructure. Employees in this classification perform semi-skilled level work.Water Treatment/OperationsThis position will provide a variety of operator maintenance functions to include: cleaning well houses, pump stations, and treatment facilities, removing sand and debris from water intake structures, assisting with water quality sampling, data entry, and other duties as assigned.MetersThis position will be responsible for collecting finals every morning and assisting the full-time technicians throughout the day with maintenance and appointments.This position will need to be available the 1 through the 3 of every month for reading and skips, whether it's a holiday or falls on a weekend.The seasonal grounds maintenance technician, under the supervision of the Sr. Grounds Maintenance Technician, is responsible for mowing, trimming, and performing general grounds maintenance. Will work at various locations, including water treatment facilities, wastewater lift stations, and storm ponds. The role requires the use of equipment such as chainsaws, riding mowers, weed trimmers, push mowers, and backpack blowers. Additional duties may include repairing fences, painting, and conducting general maintenance on buildings.
