Essential Responsibilities:Perform launch, recovery, scheduled and unscheduled inspections/maintenance.Preflight/thru flight/BPO inspections, ground handling, minor maintenance, and servicing.Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all systems and components on the aircraft at the organizational level of maintenance.Services aircraft. Performs end-of-runway, post-flight, preflight, thru-flight, and phase inspections.Troubleshoots and maintains aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment. Removes and installs aircraft components.Performs inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer and company maintenance manuals and procedures.Services, operates, and maintains ground support equipment and performs interior and exterior cleaning of aircraft and work areas. Must precisely complete all maintenance documentation.Perform all other position-related duties as assigned.Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Four (4) years directly related to aircraft maintenance experience on KC-46 aircraft. Experience must include complying with all applicable aircraft servicing procedures, aircraft maintenance manuals and parts catalogs, and/orFAA Airframe, Powerplant, or Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.Must read, interpret and use manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints, wiring/schematic diagrams, data tables and other specifications to determine feasibility and method to repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged components.Must possess a current state issued drivers license.Must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. NOTE: U.S. citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work site.Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:Must possess the ability to carry and lift overhead up to 50 pounds.Duties include walking, climbing, standing, stooping, stretching, and squatting for purposes of moving equipment, boarding and de-boarding the aircraft, performing maintenance using ladders, and performing maintenance atop and below aircraft.Work is primarily performed outside in a high-level noise environment.Performing maintenance in low-light areas, operating support equipment after daylight hours.
