VIP Experience Production CrewThe VIP Experience Production Crew is responsible for ensuring the execution of all planned VIP design elements by performing the technical and physical aspects related to the department. Production crew will report directly to the VIP Production Manager and work closely with the department Art Director. This is not a remote position.Responsibilities:Perform the load-in (installation) and load-out of design elements and propsPerform labor related to installation of custom environmentsAssist with 3rd party vendor operations as neededAssist the VIP Decor team and Lighting team as neededFollow detailed drawings to install planned design elementsPerform basic carpentry and painting tasksRepair, maintain, and organize VIP assetsAssist with assembly and dismantle of various stage equipmentUse various hand and power tools and material handling equipmentCommunicate project updates and details of the event to crew leadsComply with company and state safety regulationsOperate and maintain work areas in a safe, clean mannerProject a professional image by working steadily, being a team player and being responsible for personal actionsSafely operate various types of utility vehicles and heavy equipment providing appropriate certificationFollow all safety, corporate and department policiesFollow written and verbal instructions from department managementAssist with emergency and unscheduled repairsDiagnose and assess issues, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments as neededDetect faulty operations, defective material and report to crew leadsPerform all other duties and special projects as assigned or neededQualifications:2+ years art department and/or carpentry experienceFestival and/or film production experience is strongly preferredMust possess tool kit including basic hand and power toolsMust possess valid and current driver license and U.S. passportMust possess valid and current credit card for hotel incidentalsAbility to operate equipment such as forklift, boom lift, scissor lift etc. is strongly preferredAbility to use hand tools, saws, etc.Must be highly motivated and possess superior interpersonal communication skillsWorking knowledge of web and mobile technologies as well as two-way radioMust possess working mobile device, preferably smartphonePosition requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 75lbs.Must be willing to work 8+ hours per day as neededWork Environment:Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environmentsMay work in drastic temperature climatesMust be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlinesEqual Employment Opportunity:We aspire to build teams that reflect and support the fans and artists we serve. Insomniac takes into consideration a candidate's education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees.
