Senior AI-Native Full Stack Engineer Next.js | TypeScript | React | SQL | APIs | Cursor | Agentic SDLC VALiNTRY is seeking a Senior AI-Native Full Stack Engineer with hands-on experience building modern applications using AI-assisted and agentic software development practices. This is not simply a traditional full stack development position where AI tools are a nice-to-have. We are looking for an engineer who actively uses AI throughout the software development lifecycle and has participated in code modernization or application transformation initiatives driven by an agentic SDLC. Pay: $70.00–$90.00 per hour (W-2) For exceptional candidates with highly relevant experience or specialized technical skills, compensation above the listed range may be considered. What We're Looking For Required Technical Experience Strong Next.js development experience Advanced TypeScript and React skills Strong SQL and relational database experience Extensive experience building and integrating APIs Experience working in API-heavy architectures Hands-on experience using Cursor as part of the development workflow Experience using AI coding agents and AI-assisted development techniques beyond simple code completion AI-Native Development Experience Candidates must have real-world experience working in an AI-native / agentic development environment, including: Using AI agents throughout the software development lifecycle Agent-assisted code generation, refactoring, testing, debugging, and documentation Modernizing legacy applications using AI-assisted development workflows Using agents to understand and transform existing codebases Applying human review, testing, and engineering judgment to AI-generated code Working within an agentic SDLC rather than simply using AI as an occasional productivity tool Code Modernization We are particularly interested in engineers who have helped transform legacy applications into modern architectures. Experience may include: Legacy application assessment and codebase analysis Incremental modernization and refactoring Breaking monolithic applications into modern services or APIs Migrating legacy front ends to React / Next.js Modernizing database and integration layers Using AI agents to accelerate code analysis, transformation, testing, and migration Nice to Have PHP MySQL Experience modernizing PHP/MySQL applications Migration from legacy PHP applications into modern Next.js / TypeScript / React architectures Experience designing or implementing agentic engineering workflows The Ideal Candidate You are an experienced software engineer who has fundamentally changed the way you develop software because of AI. You don't just occasionally ask an LLM to write a function. Cursor and AI agents are part of your everyday engineering workflow, and you understand how to use them responsibly to analyze, build, modernize, test, and maintain production software.
